well... considering that all you need to get on your tests to become a physician is 70%, i think that 96.7% is pretty damn good! Also, i've only seen a cadaver's penis bifurcated. I have a list of reasons as to why this would be fake, but i think it would be kinda nerdy to list them all since it's pretty clear that it's fake and was probably meant as just a joke.
Taking jokes too seriously tends to be "nerdy."

Alright, you asked for it...
When the penis is bifurcated you have to cut through a number of structures. It's pretty uniform through the whole shaft of the penis with the glans penis (head of penis) having a slightly different composition. If you're cutting from dorsal side of the penis (as shown) you're going to first encounter the superficial dorsal vein which is relatively large and carries most of the blood from the penis out. The deep (Buck's) fascia is usually pretty clear showing borders between the copus cavernosum and the corpus spongiosum. None of which are very clear in any of the pics.
Usually the penis looks like E.T. when it's bifurcated. You have two distinct regions of corpus cavernosum which gives the hardness to the penis when the dorsal vein and other veins that run on the dorsal side push up against the pubic symphysis when a man become erect. Right in the middle of both of the corpus cavernosum are the deep arteries which fill the cavernous corpus cavernosum. Between these two structures, you form the "eyes of E.T." The last major structure to be encountered is the copus spongiosum surronding the urethra that runs ventrally (on the underside). The corpus spongiosum does not get as hard and keeps the urethra open for ejaculation during erection. This forms the "mouth of E.T." These structres are not very clear at all and i would expect them to be visable.
Finally, if you cut the head of your dick off your penis would essentially "deflate" and you would have a shit load of blood and would not stay like a mushroom. That's fluid dynamics. (yes, that's medical terminology for any crazy person who attempts to bifurcate their penis)

The tourniquet is usually used on a limb to prevent excessive bleeding. This is done by pressing the major artery against the hard muscles and bones. These rubber bands and string have nothing to press the vein against. Remember, it's the closing of the dorsal vein that keeps the penis hard, not bone. The penis is just soft tissue that gets filled with blood like a sponge and then clamped off (dorsal vein). Here, the pressure is released by cutting off the glans penis. The blood should come out and the penis would go limp b/c there is no pressure inside the corpus cavernosum.
For argument sake, even if the tourniquet was tight enough to seal off the rest of the remaining penis, that does not explain why the 1/2" section of penis distal to the tourniquet is still large and plump.
I wonder if there's any data available from the Bobbitt (spelling?) case.

sorry if i made you feel ill...
i guess i've been a bit desensatized to it and was never queezy from such graphic images.
you get used to it when you're dissecting a body for hours and then go to eat your roast beef sandwich and can still smell the "cadaver juice" on your hands b/c it permeated your gloves. BLEH!!!!

P.Sssss. If you look at the "head" after its been cut off, compared to when it was on, its color has changed and reflects what a "head" would look like without an active blood flow. It also looks deflated.

you cannot say that the head is a different color b/c the pictures are taken from different angles. The lighting will be different, etc.
this is purely anatomy. to me it's not as sick if it's fake. you mearly have to desensatize yourself.
