no its no joke. I cried... I grew up on boca grande, my mom practically gave birth to me there... and that street... oh that street. What a beautiful thing to be destroyed. Poor trees.

it was beautiful  I was born in port charlotte and spent most of my weekends there...we even had Dupont's dog for a few weeks...hehe. One day, i was hoping to wed there, on that very street.

thats really neat. Maybe they will fix it up some. I havn't actually been there to see it, and black and white photos do make things look more dramatic.
that island has changed so much, its sad. I mean I say how much it has changed, and my mom would always say that it is nothing like when she was there YEARS ago. I can only imagine. It makes me sad sometimes, that a place that cool is becoming so elite.
I still damn my family for selling all the property we had there. Half my family used to live there, now only an aunt and uncle of mine live in an apartment above the temptation.
