Oof, I know! They should have set it in the early 90s..although the casting was done well.
Okay, I just really like Hugh Grant for some ungodly reason. He acts the same in all of the movies, but my ovaries make me think otherwise.
I still like the movie. .gif) And the Audi he drives...I want one.

about a boy was a better book then a movie.....
i wanted to slit my wrists when i watched it
but i still believe empire is better..
i mean i liked high fidelity and all but not enough to think it was so fucking great
i think it is the fact that .(so shoot me) i really detest jack black
i have my reasons... and anything he is in i just do not care for that much

High Fidelity is awesome, as is Empire Records. The kid who wears all black in Empire Records I think grows up to become Rob Gordon's character in High Fidelity.

High Fidelity get's boring at some parts, although the dream sequence where they kill Tim Robbins' character is hard to beat.
Empire Records wins, since they had Sponge's "Plowed" when they are having that huge sale towards the end, and that song just plain kicks ass.
God I miss mid 90's alternative. Best Music Ever. Now we just have unoriginal or cying shit.
