Yes, the US government sponsored Saddam back in the day. The US government also sponsored Bin Laden during the 80's as well. Just because people made decisions back then that have had bad outcomes today, does that mean we don't do anything?

As you speak now, though, you speak against all former presidents in recent time (not just Bush or the republicans). Clinton was guilty of letting Bin Laden go, and all the other presidents were just as guilty in furthering their own agendas.
I cannot say that Bush is not guilty of this: I think no politician is innocent when it comes to furthering their own agenda. But to say that Bush is basically the reason everything horrible exists in our world today (bad economy, evil dictators, aids, etc) is just a cop-out...
And North Korea will get theirs. I think that Bush should have gone to NK first, then Iraq. But I'm not the president...

You might be asking "How do they keep us safe?" Well, it's rather simple: Since we protect ourselves, most criminals know that if a situation were happen, that they might be confronted with 10+ shots of death staring them in the grill. Because of this, they can't really tell if it's me that's packing, or your "dude, don't harsh my mellow"-ass that's got heat. A major deterrent, if you ask me.
...not to mention, if a criminal does anything to me (break into my house, hurt/try to hurt my friends/family, etc), I'll kill him. So then he's not around to do anything to you.

Ok, lemme try this again: I said the word "hippie" in a joking sense. In almost all of those posts, you can change the word "hippie" with "liberal", and have it mean the same thing. So, i was equating the word "hippie" to "liberal" in the name of humor. Too bad you didn't get the joke, even after I mentioned it...

wow.... Its funny how something so small as that picture can cause such a long discusion.
