lol yea... this is one of the many pictures taken today in anatomy & physiology lab. I'm starting to enjoy the dissections more... I believe we had a little bit too much fun with our cat today

yeah, we cut up a cat in anatomy in highschool also.. i was in a group of all girls and one guy and i was the only one who ever wanted to cut... it was so much fun

Yes, she still has her fur coat. Actually, last semester we had to skin our cats... and basically we used the same cats ALL SEMESTER (they were rather nasty by the time novemeber ended). And since we had skinned them in a "tuxedo" fashion, we would have to "undress" and "dress" them every time we took them out and put them away.
Dr. Goldberg teaches A&P... she is really great. If you are wanting to take it, make sure you begin in the fall, because A&P 1 is only offered in the fall, as A&P 2 is only offered in the spring. Also, new this year, the lab is required with the lecture... so this semester it is integrated... 75% of your grade is lecture exams and the remaining 25% is your lab grade. It actually works out very nicely.

oh yes i just remembered that my teacher skinned them for us, thankfully.
we had ours for a couple months too, and when we came back from winter break the cats were really funky so we had to douse them in febreeze. it was truly disgusting.
my group also pierced the cat's ear, split its toungue, removed some teeth, cut of the tail for rearview mirror decor, and some other nasty shit. highschoolers...

oooh I wanna take a tooth out lol. interesting, febreezing cats, sometimes if they are really bad, we "bathe" them in the sink with water... actually yesterday we took her back out to remove a kidney... someone had already removed on from her.. that made us sad... thankfully she had another one left, tho. I don't trust my cat under the scapel of unknown students hehe.
