Nah, I recognized about 5 minutes into being there that they pretty much had the right away. It was hilarious though how they would ruthlessly ring their little bike bells to tell you "GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY WAY!" I absolutely loved it, I wish we all rode bikes.

yea they did that to us too. we were told that people could be nasty there, and to not look at them. i called bullshit but soon enough we ran into a group that was there for Model UN, like ourselves, where one of the kids had a bloody nose. he said some guy punched him for no reason. kinda fucked up if you ask me.

i'm all for people riding bikes..but i wish they all would at least follow the rules of the road. Today there was this guy on cross creek going on the wrong way against traffic and was inches from cars (there's no bike path).

Tampa is not bike friendly at all.
There are no sidewalks or bike lanes on main roads which makes using bikes for anything but leisure riding on back roads very dangerous.
