yea, thats been brought up as a possable reason but it hasnt been proven yet. I know when I have kids I will play it on the safe side just incase and try to find a happy medium for having them inaculated as late as I can... I'll do my homework.

There is NO correlation between autism and vaccinations. Seriously people, get your kids vaccinated and on time, please.

She's not doing it for the money idiot. She just wants to sell it over to those people in hopes they will use it because it makes her feel better and she thinks it would touch other parents in her position

no, no I wouldn't. If I were in her position and I felt this could help people, I would give it to them. I'd even create the poster size version of the file and pass that around to them.

in essence, shes profiting from her child's disability. how SICK.
why not just put him in a sideshow with the worlds smallest woman...who isnt really that small and its sort of awkward when you come in and shes sitting on her little chair and you just stare at her while she watches her little tv and little beads of sweat drip off her fat little head and you wonder why the hell you paid $2 to see a small black woman on a stol.

Look, I'm not trying to be a dick. I'm just pointing out that I don't agree with profiting from this. Besides, how much could she make from selling somthing like this? You expect some organization to give her a good some of money for a poster? I can see them paying a few bucs, but nothing significant.
I understand the hole that this has probley put her and her husband in. And I understand that that she would like to make more money to help support her child, but when there are thousands of other people in the same shoes as her she would be the better person for sharing this with them and brightening their lives with it rather than turning a small profit.

^Like I said, her first thought was truly to send it to those companies because the message really spoke to her and a lot of other parents she knows of autistic children. To do so she has to get it copyrighted though and I guess try and sell it to those groups for them to possibly use. If they even bought it you're right, they probably wouldn't give her much, but she doesn't give a shit. If they said "no, we will take it but not pay you anything" she'd say "sure, go right ahead!" She'd be ecstatic that they even recognized it and used it.

Why sell a poster of an autistic kid when you can sell pics of your wife's half naked body for money?
Sorry I had to.

Yes, but will the child benefit from it? Yes, with money going to therapy, special classes, and keeping a roof over his head. Just like your wife's modeling (and whatever it is you do, I'm not sure. Have you mentioned it before?) feeds you guys, pays your bills, and makes it able for you guys to have nice things.
And this is how it's comparable.

Jesus Christ people, it's not like it's child porn. This is NOT "taking advantage" of his disability. If anything, it will help others cope with their family member's disease.
My 7 year old brother is autistic. The other day, Gulf HS in NPR dedicated one of their baseball games to Austism Awareness and my little brother threw the first pitch. It was sooooooo fucking cute.

How? These kids grow up emotionally detached from their worlds. There aren't really many HILAAARIOUS physical signs. My little brother occasionally walks on his tip toes and rarely speaks. He does, however live his life according to routine. He's very sensitive to taste and light. He'll only eat hot dogs, pringles from the red can, pizza, and scrambled eggs. If anything is remotely off from his routine, he reacts like it's the end of the world. He'll throw a tantrum and he gets REALLY upset. He's 7 years old and still wears diapers at home. For some reason he'll go to the bathroom at school, but he won't go at home. He's incredibly intelligent and artistic, years ahead of other kids. But to the common stranger, my brother looks no different than any other kid. He just looks like he isn't "well behaved."
It's a really sad and unfortunate disease.
