Well, I was thinking of holding out on the V2, but the Blu-Ray capabilities of the PS3 were too much to ignore with a 1080 TV. I spent a lot of money in a short span of time, so I'll lay low on additional consoles for a while.
And yes, it looks shitty because that's right after I threw everything together to test things. The Bose surround isn't even hooked up here..

^^ I've thought about that exact line a few times with respect to this new stuff... weird. Ultimately I realize there's utility in these things, and I'll have them for a long time probably. But yeah, there is a certain satisfaction in buying things that you, for the first time, can afford.
