We (the crowd) also started "Here we go Bulls, Here we go *clap* *clap*" and the very similar "Lets go BULLS *clap* *clap* *clapclapclap*"
The Sundolls did a great job! When the ball was waaaaaay down at the other end of the field, they kept on doin' their thing and keepin' the USF fans entertained.
And where were the Cheerleaders? EXACTLY. Definately NOT in the Carrier Dome.
They flew up those who could dance AND cheer. In my book the cheerleaders lost a point and the Sundolls took it b/c they came up and were at the game.

cire19...ur little attitude is making you look very stupid. don't EVEN try to put down the sundolls b/c i think we do an awesome job.
mattyboy...never in million yrs would i EVER wish to be a cheerleader....no offense to them, i just happen to like dancers better.
let me clarify something...the sundolls will never wish to be cheerleaders (no offense) but cheering IS part of what we do at games, b/c we are labeled a spirit squad. however, dancing is WHAT WE DO BEST. true, at football, we don't get to do a lot of dancing. come to a basketball game and you'll see what we really do. watch our nationals routine you will be BLOWN away.

honestly, before last weekend, i thought the sun dolls didnt do shit. but they did a fuckin good job at the syracuse game. they were dancing to THEIR BAND'S songs, and doing just a good of job of starting cheers as the cheerleaders ever do at home. and they looked really hot. they got a lot of attention.

Personally I'd rather look at the sundolls than look at Ehrick while he thinks he is above all. But that's just me.

Yes, let's dance to the OTHER team's band!
And, I don't have a attitude, just stating facts.

i don't get how you think we wouldn't know that....we're at the same games ya'll are at, hun.
and as for dancing to the syracuse's bands songs....OUR BAND WASN'T THERE. we were trying to entertain the crowd and we did a damn good job of it. it's not like we danced to their fight song or anything but "we will, we will, rock you" is a song that EVERY band plays.
i don't get why you're trying to put the sundolls down. leave the dancer/cheerleader rivalry back in high school where it belongs.

I don't recall putting anyone down. I don't recall saying anything bad about anyone or mentioning any names.
You're just assuming. Just like everyone else who's taking a position in which they are completely oblvious too, are just assuming you're going to spread your legs for them.

^^well i'm assuming that all of your sarcastic comments were meant to be negative...if not then maybe you need to think before you word what you're trying to say.
ummm i don't know what the spreading legs comment is supposed to mean, once again you are not directly stating exactly what your point is, but again, i am taking offense-i'm not a slut or a whore...i've had the same bf for over a yr now, k thanks.

For your information Brugger, we don't CHOOSE which trips we go on...the athletic and marketing departments choose for us who gets to travel. This is how the game situation worked this year:
-Coed cheerleaders travel to Penn State & UConn
-All-girl cheerleaders travel to Pittsburgh and Rutgers
-Al-girl, Coed, and the Sundolls ALL travel to Miami with 8 cheerleaders
from All-girl and 8 cheerleaders from Coed cheering the game on the field
-Sundolls travel to Syracuse
So Brugger, don't make it sound like the cheerleaders didn't WANT to go or anything. Just wanted to make you aware of how this is all run
Also, to whoever said the "man-faced" comment...I find your comment to be WAY OFF considering not all the cheerleaders have guys holding them in the air...look downfield and you'll see a team of pretty all-girl cheerleaders too.
And last but certainly not least....congrats on the traveling squad Katie! Hope you had fun

I was unaware of the fact that different teams traveled.
I would of have been excited to see anyone from USF at that game. Everyone up here is all about SU this... and SU that... and when i say USF, they think i'm from San Francisco. {rolls eyes}
I'm sure the cheerleaders would of have done just fine as well. You guys missed a great game. Especially when Hall ran into the endzone right in front of the bench, did the big hands on the hips and head knods which drew a celebration penalty.
Good Times! Great Fun!
I still don't get the whole "stunting" thing though with cheerleaders. Do you really need to throw people in the air to show how excited you are about a game? It's very impressive... but i wonder where that came from!??!

We throw people in the air to lead the crowd...in many stadiums, the cheerleaders are much closer to the stands and the fans can't see the cheerleaders because the cheerleaders are almost directly below the fans. We stunt so the crowd can actually see the cheerleaders in the air, so the crowd can actually see our signs and therefore yell with us. As far as stunting goes, ask Lawrence Herkimer aka "Herkie"...pretty much created cheerleading from the beginning, founded the National Cheerleaders Association. They did stunts and flips from the very beginning.
