Ok, let me explain. My friends call me nicole-e-ole a lot, along with nikki-ole. When it's Nicole they pronounce it like you would nicole, when they use it with Nikki they pronounce it like "oh-lee." Try it out.

I tend to introduce myself as Nicole. But pretty much the people that have known me the longest call me Nikki. I honestly don't care what people call me, it's all good as long as they remember my name.
