I've never seen a funnel cloud, but I have been near a tornado. I used to live near Columbus, Ohio and I remember the tornado alarms going off and hiding in the basement with a radio.

That looks like one of those scenes they show in one of those end-of-the-world type movies, or the anti-christ movies, where they show the clouds going by real fast and stuff.
