Gau 17 right?? Actually saw one fired from a trailer... shook the ground and I was 5 feet away. 2000-4000 rounds per mintute. Actually flew a flight on a Huey with one mounted to the side. Nothing like seeing your instructor hang out the side of a Huey while you feed link after link of 5.56 rounds, while the other crew chief is firing a .50 cal out the other side... Only to have the pilot face front and let loose 2 rockets mounted just under your feet...

Actually, it's a GE-134. Those are chambered in .308, and fire 3600-6000rnds/min. That'd be cool as shit, though, to be on a Huey when one of those let loose.

Once you get over a 1000 round a minute...your pretty much making anything in your way swiss cheese. Leave it to the Marines to make good on the old stuff, it is in our nature. Here is the perfect toy to go with yours though
Oh and thats a .50 cal machine gun mounted on the side of here. Rounds down ranger from that will certainly make an impression on anyone

is that a M2 on the side of your chopper? they had several of those at the range yesterday. i love how the earth rattles when they are fired.
