^^ Not at all. It's a huge cage, and when kittens are that small without a mother (as these were without a mother) they wander off, and you can't have them wandering around a house where they could get into something bad and hurt themselves. They are really fragile at this age and really have no need to do much walking. This size cage is perfect for them. Have you never seen the tiny cages they keep cats in at the Humane Society? Now that is what is sad.
