Description

I was working on my book this week after a slight break due to finals. Forgive my scrubby appearance in the pic- I was tired and in a relaxed & comfy mood. The books displayed are those that were used in the process of this week's writing, but actually account for only a very small segment of the entire bibliography as there are many more works used in my research. Anyway, this is merely a spontaneous photo I decided to take.

The book I'm writing is an analysis of America's obsession with economic prosperity, materialism, status/image, and how it serves to define American culture. I spent a few years doing a study on this topic and the book is somewhat of an explanation/analysis of the topics described above. According to my plans, I will probably finish it this year- as this is the timeline that my literary agents/publishers are seeking. I know, its a bit unusual for an International Business major to have such an interest in sociology, but its been somewhat of a hobby for me over the years.
