Why would you think Kerry would be shot?? That seems like a very odd thing to say, especially when I ask Bush supporters what they disslike about Kerry's policies and all they say is "I just don't like him," or "He looks like Lurch!" Come on! Kerry is just like any other excellent Democratic candidate, and it seems like an absurd thing to say, that he would be shot, but I guess you are entitled to your opinion...GO KERRY!!!!!!!!!

Any man who comes back from Vietnam, then starts an anti-war organization, and later uses his time served in Vietnam as the partial basis for his campaign. Not the kinda guy I want to have as the commander in cheif, that and switching leaders in such an unstable time would be stupid, and the perfect time for a terrorist attack, as Kerry "gets accquainted" with things.

Kerry's experiences in the war gives him an understanding of how serious they are.
In my eyes, Bush acts like he's playing a video game and doesn't realize
the sacrifices.
Are wars really that great? If Kerry is anti-war maybe he thinks he can use his brain
to get results, from the debates we can see that Bush had no other choice than war.

Bush has no plan to end the war ever. If Bush is re-elected the president after him
better have a brain.

Oh I get it now, the guy who has been to war and doesn't like it is worse than the guy who has never been to war, but sends other people to fight one

I think Bush is a coward. Lets give someone else a chance--someone who has actually served their country!

You mean to tell me John Kerry was couragous enough to
speak out against things that he thought were wrong.

Not even scares from the military (who has been known to
hide the truth)could get him to not speak out
about what he believed in, I love this guy

"On the campaign trail, Sen. John Forbes Kerry regularly mentions his Vietnam War combat experience, during which he received three Purple Hearts, the Silver Star and Bronze Star.

However, the Massachusetts Democrat doesn't like to talk much about how he received the awards or the time after he returned home when he was rubbing shoulders with Hanoi Jane Fonda as a much-celebrated organizer for Vietnam Veterans Against the War (VVAW), one of America's most radical pro-communist groups.

Sen. Kerry, the "noble statesman" and "highly decorated Vietnam vet" of today, is a Far cry from Kerry, the radical, hippie-like leader of Vietnam Veterans Against the War (VVAW) in the early 1970s.

Soon after Kerry, as a Navy Lieutenant (junior grade) commanding a Swift boat in Vietnam, was awarded the Silver Star, he used an obscure Navy regulation to leave Vietnam and his crew before completing his tour of duty."

It seems most of your arguments are: War bad, therefore, Kerry good.

The war isn't the only thing at stake here, folks.

YOu do realize that picture was faked right? Which totally discredits anything they have to say.

That is true. We have healthcare, employment, and the seperation of church and state at stake.

My main concern isn't war. It is the economy. Economy sucks. Can't be blamed on the Democrats, who left us in the positive. Now we are in past the point where even Bush said he would not go into, he continues to give tax breaks to the rich, who obviously don't need it, which is not helping the economy either. I don't like "Rich get richer, Poor get poorer, a middle class gets fucked" economics. It leads to aristocracy of the level similar to what Russia had prior to the Revolution. I'm not saying a communist regime will break out, but if the middle class, the only buffer the rich have against the poor uprising, breaks away so that the former middle class is now poor, revolution will occur. It has happened often in the past. And quite frankly, if I get to see Paris Hilton, and most of Bush's office heads on a pole, I'll be a happier person.

Did someone say "...a communist regime will break out". Schweet. Where do I sign?

Anyone who is againt a secular gov't, is an idiot.

Anyone who is against free public healthcare, is selfish.

And anyone who understands the president is just a figurehead, is disillusioned.

1 human's (our titty of a president) decisions are not completely to blame for our current state. And 1 human's (our new president) decisions will not fix our state completely. Everyone who wakes up on the American side of their bed is responsible for the state of our nation.

Having the poiwer of the figure head shouldn't be understated. When he drives for support and gathers it in his republican majority congress he could pass whatever he wants.
