At first glance i would say "fire hazard" but i'm quite confident you know what you're doing.
Awesome job!

No fire hazard there. I see some Stinger fuses sitting in the packages in front of the gel-cell.
Optima Gel-Cell. Not a bad choice. Question, though: With a gel-cell AND a deep-cycle battery, do you *really* need a cap? If so, maybe you should look into getting a higher-output alternator?

actualy, my charging system consists of.....
ohio generator 280 amp alternator
2 optima yellow tops
1 optima red top.
the cap is there for looks, if you look at the finished one there isnt netting behind the mesh, like in the other 2 cutouts, i mainly use it for the voltage read out and because people think it looks cool when im at car shows.... it realy is useless and serves no purpose other than those 2.
ps.... its not a messy now, its actualy very clean for how much wire i have running, its alos all 0 and like 4 strands of 4 guage wiring so it looks like there is alot more there. and i have about 4 200 amp fuses and 1 220 amp fuse in the back with a 250 up front.

Well, if worst comes to worse, you could always get your stock alternator wound to higher specs (what I've known quite a few people to do).
