That lift is insane! It's a little too big for my tastes, but it is still crazy just to see. Someone needs to give me money for a 3 inch lift for my new Dakota.

what are you guys talking about.... major ass lift on some 44" boggers..... that shit is sick.. espically since it looks to have minimal body lift.
It does have downfalls though...
1) its a ford
2) its only a 1500 series truck. anything that big needs to be 2500 or 3500 with a turbo desil.... a dodge with that on it would be bad ass....

First of all, Ford's "Series" are 150, 250, and 350. E Rock you're a dumbass. And the guy with the dropped blazer, desil is spelled diesel, the tires are not Boggers, and if you haven't talked to anyone lately, Dodges are pieces of shit.

You should just get rid of the wheel wells Is this truck considered complete or do you intend to mod it some more?

Aren't the tires Trxus. I think when you go that big, you need to some way other than leaf springs. Must have abosolutely no flex in the suspension. Go with some coilovers and a nice 4 link setup. Besides with it that high you mine as well use 53" Michelins. Otherwise it a pretty decent truck. Oh another thing, how many CV joints are on the front driveshaft, and how much did that cost to have it built.

There are those that'd argue that Fords are pieces of shit. Everyone's got their own opinion.
F150
Chevy 1500
Dodge 1500
All the same size. I don't think he necessarily thought that Ford made 1500 models trucks, he was just saying that he thought that anything lifted that large needed to be the size of a 2500 or 3500 series pickup.

fords do not look good lifted no matter what.. leave it to the chevys and the dodges....
fords are too smooth and bubble looking to do that sort of thing and they end up being lame.. i agree the lift is interesting.... but just not with that truck

If you don't know much about this subject, just keep your opinions to yourself. Any kind of truck would look good with this lift.

I wouldn't waste my time with a half-ton truck, or even the few 3/4 ton fords I have seen. Mainly because they have IFS front suspension. All the new chevys are that way. Costs too much to lift and you mine as well conert to a straight front axle. But thats why i have a jeep. My dad has an F-350 on 36's, we had an F-150 a few years back with a straight front axle and some 44" swampers. Truck still runs around in Saint Cloud. I agree that if you know nothing of trucks and 4x4 subjects don't post.
