it is based off of the opera La Boheme
where mimi is a semstress and has TB instead of aids
and many other things..
it is a modernized version of La Boheme also very awesome...
it pushes the limits of theatre .... breaks new grounds..not your traditional put u to sleep play .. it is a rock opera........ sex drugs rock and roll

That training bra shit...I'm guessing you were trying to make fun of Rent...bad attempt. I've seen a great deal of plays on broadway and many other places, and Rent is probably in the top three that I've seen. It is by far number one as far as music. Some of my other favorites are Mis Saigon and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat - - Definitely see both if you ever get the chance!
