I've seen a model apartment there, and been to one party someone had who lived there...but I was just wanted some more opinions about the place, atmosphere, security, everything. My move-in date is officially July 31st. I wish my stupid lease here at Avalon was up sooner than August 5th!!! grrrrr!

As far as the apartments go, I like them, plenty of space, decent sized balcony, outside storage and everything. My closet is fucking huge, but me not being a huge material whore, it is pretty empty as all my clothes are in piles on the floor anyway.
Security is good I guess. The spike strips on exit gates are a bit anal retentive if you ask me. The security guard writes warnings for visitors in peoples spots, but I've never seen anyone get towed, which...sucks sometimes, but most of the time there are plenty of parking spots. The only dickhead security guard I ever met there got fired, compliments of me and my roommate, so you can thank us for the lack of dickhead presence
I don't know about other buildings, but in my building it seems like everyone keeps to themselves except for when they need a cup of sugar or a screwdriver....

Lake view is nice, I live their, the security is good except for when drunks knock over the guard rail. if oyu live ont he 2nd or 3rd floors, you could noise complaints pretty easy, so dont have a huge party. When checkin out, they are fairly strict about keeping the place clean, and may try to charge you money to ahve a clean up crew come inand do it. The pool is great, along with the volleyball court. the gym has one of those walls you can climb, but it is a smallone. I live on floor 3 and have a great view of the lake in the back , theres like 100's of birds that live back their, and I could easily snipe people at Jefferson Commons from my deck, if its ever needed...lol
