I ment it to mean that whole major in general... I already knew your major. Another example of a person like this would be Gina. She is a English Major, and not only corrects poor spelling, but poor grammar as well.

Ahahaha, I was an English major last week. My parents pretty much said if I major in English, I will have to support myself... 
Yeah, I do correct spelling/grammar a lot. Maybe I should give up on life and become an English teacher.
