Where do I begin? Writing about it makes me drool. It's everywhere in NYC, but it came from Taiwan over 7 years ago. It's like Starbucks with good tea and a nice twist to it. I'll try to keep it short. It's basically cold/hot/frozen green tea (authentic strong type) or black tea mixed with different natural flavors like
mango (my fav)
passion fruit (2nd fav)
kiwi
kumquat
taro
coffee
apple
honey
or just with milk
On the bottom of the drink are tapioca balls and you suck those up with a a big straw. The balls are usually soaked in honey (the good spots do that) and are chewy. The balls are for fun or to fill ya up. It's just really the flavor of the authentic tea and fruit flavorings.
I think there's one in St. Pete. Damn, I'm reallly fiending now!!! Definitely try some if you run by a store with it.

It's the BEST! It's def not overrated, cause there 1 place in St. Pete that sells it. CheeseRic is a Bubble Hater! Bubble tea could be as popular as Starbucks coffee. In New York every corner has a tea shop, really miss NY.

Hahaha, I clicked on this picture to say that Bubble Tea was overrated.
Since I've one so... I'll just say that all the Bubble Tea places I've been to use rice cookers. I find that cute!

Phong! Rice cookers, that's makes the place even hotter! Every home needs a rice cooker and i'm assuming (which might not be right) that your ethnicity is somewhere from the Asian countries. You must have gotten baaad bubble tea from a front.
no luv,
