that's pretty feasible. I was pulling 295 at 160 and I'm not exactly built for weight training.

I also like guys that are serious about weightlifting that wear large / xlarge t-shirts. It's like a sleeper race car.

i think my calves make me have chicken legs...i do work em out, maybe once a week. weighed 157...i'm 5'11", that's why the weight i lift seems impossible, too tall for my weight

glad that you didn't use straps... I think that if you can't lift the weight with your hands you need to wait for them to catch up

I guess if you're going for size, but if someone is working out to be stronger I don't think that they should use aids that will cause weaker body parts to continue to lag behind.
I can't row 300 pounds, but I can hold 300 and let it out slowly.
I'm not a fan of gloves either

My hands are sensitive and I get blisters and callouses if I don't wear gloves.

thanks seth. jesse, I agree with you that you shouldn't work out with straps nor gloves although your hands will get major callouses. In the competition, you aren't allowed to use anything, although a bunch of people did use a little help known as 'juice.'

^^ those blisters and calluses are areas of your skin that are subject to repeated pressure, you should have those.
