Sadly enough, good sword craftsmanship is very rare these days. Most of the stuff being sold is shitty Taiwanese or Chineese junk. To find an excellent quality Japanese Katana, Scottish Highlander Claymore, or even a Napoleon is hard to do.

Toledo, Spain is the place to find good-quality steel. My best friend has 2 sets of katanas from there, and the craftsmanship is unbelievable. TRUE folded steel, hand-forged. The way steel SHOULD be.
